About the event
The best opportunity to potentially see all seven planets is coming up on 2/28, just after sunset 🌅
While Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn will be visible to the naked eye, Uranus and Neptune will require binoculars or a telescope for best viewing.
Three planets in particular should be blazing bright in the sky:
Venus: The planet hit its peak brightness over the weekend of 2/15, but still should be easily visible on 2/28.
Jupiter: Above Venus, the second-brightest planet.
Mars: High at the top of the sky, which should be brighter than it normally is and have a distinctive pinkish color.
